General Information
Admission
Adults and children 12 months and older: $7 per person
Seniors (62+ years) and Military Personnel (with valid military ID): $6 per person
Group rate for 15 or more children (Advanced reservations required): $5 per child; chaperones free until 1:5 ratio is reached.
Home School rates: school-age children $3 per child, Tuesday – Friday. Home school educator is free with ID from home school association or educational group.
Children 11 months and younger, Museum Members, and Educators (with valid school ID): FREE
Hours of Operation
SPECIAL SUMMER HOURS – JUNE, JULY & AUGUST (unless otherwise noted in our Monthly Calendar)
- Monday – Friday – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
MUSEUM HOURS – SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY (unless otherwise noted in our Monthly Calendar)
- Tuesday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Monday 9:00 am – 12 pm (members only)
- September through May, the museum is closed the first Monday of every month for cleaning and repairs. On Mondays, when the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School district is closed for a holiday or workday, the Museum will be open 9 am – 4 pm.
